Exposing The Jezebel Spirit

 Before I begin, know that These pages always start from a place of learning… 

So, I’m not coming to you as an expert at all, but as a peer. 

Let me be honest, when we first became aware of this spirit, It is in all honestly frustrating because we are always going through the process of untangling ourselves from another Jezebel’s web of lies. AHAYAH was faithful then, and continues to be faithful and merciful now.

Needless to say, I write to you in humility, knowing that I understand how difficult it is to be around someone who operates under this spirit.

 I aim to break things down in a beginner-friendly fashion. I will start by analyzing Jezebel and her influence on people.

When we think about the word “spirit” in relation to a human being, we can think of it as either an invisible force or essence that indwells or animates a person. 

In the Hebrew or biblical language, the word “spirit” can also refer to a supernatural being, such as an angel or demon. When we think about how a spirit influences a human being, we can think of it as either positively or negatively impacting their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Jezebel is one of the bad spirits that is spoken about in the Bible. This spirit has been known to influence people negatively.

The Jezebel spirit is named after the biblical character that I will explain to you- Queen Jezebel.

What Is A Jezebel Spirit?

 Queen Jezebel was known for her manipulation and false teachings. She was a powerful woman who led Israel astray. 

 The Jezebel spirit is one of the most prevalent and deceptive demonic spirits at work in the world today. This destructive spirit gets its name from the evil queen in the bible who was married to king Ahab. Like Jezebel, this spirit is seductive, controlling, and manipulative. It operates through both men and women and often manifests itself through sexual sin, abortion, lying, deception, gossip, slander, and occult practices. The Jezebel spirits is a proud spirit, it dominates the individual whom it possess, it is adorned in jewelry, such as crosses, hoop earrings, gold bracelets, crosses or christmas Jesus memorabilia in the background, wears eye lashes and eye make up/ face make up, covered in tattoos, the dying of hair, fake eyelashes, there is so much more involved then one would think with this wicked evil spirit. The earliest condemnation of the practice of wearing cosmetics as a face adornment is associated with Jezebel where she adorned the eyes and eyelids, gold jewelry to 

entice both men and women.

 2 Kings 9:30

 30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window. 

This is because Jezebel was notorious in the worship of Baal. Jeremiah uses the concept of Israel as an adulterous woman and the use of eye make-up and face paint is found in that context in,  

Jeremiah 4:30 

 30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life. 

The same concept appears in 

Ezekiel 23:40

 40 And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments, 

 where the idolatry and harlotry of Israel is condemned. 

The use of charms and amulets is forbidden and is associated with idolatry. In this way, decorative items of dress are restricted and amulets or such ornamentation are forbidden. The attitude to attire is an appeal to sober and modest dress, being decorated by good deeds.

Ezekiel 16:17

 17 Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them, 

AHAYAH declares that He adorned His chosen Jerusalem and symbolically, all of the elect (Must Read Ezekiel 16:8-22). Even so Jerusalem turned away from God and became apostate. They fell to an even worse state than Samaria and Sodom had before them. Yet God will restore all of these systems under His new covenant (A Must Read Ezekiel 16:55-63). It is our task to remember the spiritual adornments that have been given to us by God and not to be concerned with the physical or material substance as is this world.

This spirit is also characterized by a rebellious nature and a hatred for authority. Those who are under its influence are often angry, resentful, and quick to criticize others. The Jezebel spirit is dangerous because it is so deceptive; many people don’t even realize they are under its influence. 

 Although the Jezebel spirit seems to be more prevalent in women, there is no doubt that it functions just as proficiently through men. 

The spirit of jezebel is basically a controlling spirit working through the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. A disposition, or demonic influence, that causes to create rifts in the church and in marriages through cunning, deception, and seduction. Jezebel loves authority and being in control jezebel loves being in authority and in control. The bible does not mention a jezebel spirit, although it has plenty to say about jezebel herself. Ephesians 6:12 talks about spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms and jezebel is one of those, along with leviathan, python, and others.

It is a doctrine which teaches that something evil can be good, that the profane can be pure. A female who is seeking attention from and possibly plotting to use someone who is wealthy or otherwise desirable in order to gain status in society. The definition of a jezebel is a shameless or wicked woman. It has always amazed me over the years that this kind of spirit can get very smart and intelligent people to do its evil bidding so easily. Don't let the spirit of jezebel control your life.

 Jezebel, the wicked queen, and wife to the evil King Ahab had a reputation for murder, iniquity, and sexual promiscuity. She not only served as a thorn in the side of the prophet Elijah, but she also led Israel astray in their foreign worship of idols  this is a must read as well 1 kings 18. 

 If WE allow people within the church to operate in the jezebel spirit, then I will do something about it. The spirit of jezebel that is evident today seeks to defile believers spiritually and physically. You are in a spiritual war whether you want to believe it or not. Jezebel is the seducing spirit you likely have heard that the jezebel spirit is a seducing spirit. This is because it seeks to lure men and women away from their families, marriages, values, and beliefs. The bible does not mention a jezebel spirit, although it has plenty to say about jezebel herself. If you believe in the jezebel spirit or know someone that does, you're going to want to read this entire study. The jezebel spirit will try to infect and contaminate the person it is in so they too will operate with these same kinds of evil traits. In the church—you see the jezebel spirit and the religious spirit are operating through those who profess to be saved. The jezebel spirit is always motivated by its own agenda, which it relentlessly pursues. Jezebel has stamped her name on history as the representative of all that is designing, crafty, malicious, revengeful, and cruel. The spirit of jezebel is behind the daughter of democracy, i.e. Sharpen your spiritual discernment, understand the definition of jezebel spirits, the meaning of attacks, and stop this spirit early. The jezebel spirit is the most wicked of spirits. Where it functions as a controlling´ spirit. The jezebel spirit attacks, dominates or manipulates, especially male authority. A person with a jezebel spirit will do everything in its power to destroy a person with a prophetic ministry or gift, while pretending to have the gifts of the spirit. This is why,

The jezebel spirit is the most wicked of spirits. 

The Myths and misconceptions about the Jezebel spirit

 There are many myths and misconceptions about the Jezebel spirit.

Let’s look at two

Myth #01: The Jezebel Spirit Is a Woman

This is one of the most common misconceptions about the Jezebel spirit. The truth is, the Jezebel spirit can manifest in anyone – male or female, young or old. It does not discriminate.

Myth #02: The Jezebel Spirit Wears Makeup and Red Lipstick

Another common myth is that the Jezebel spirit always wears heavy makeup and red lipstick. However, this is simply not true! We need to understand that the Jezebel spirit can manifest in anyone, regardless of their appearance.

 Let us now checkout some of the characteristics of the Jezebel Spirit, 

1. Master manipulator

The Jezebel spirit is a master manipulator. It will try to control you by any means necessary. One of the most common ways it does this is by playing on your emotions. It will try to make you feel guilty or ashamed and use your insecurities against you. If you are not careful, the Jezebel spirit can take over your life and cause havoc.

2. Fear

Jezebel will try to scare you into submission. It may threaten you with physical violence, false accusations or worse. The Jezebel spirit can destroy your reputation and ruin your relationships if you are not careful.

3. Seduction

Jezebel will try to lure you into sexual sin. It may even convince you one way or another. The Jezebel spirit is known for using witchcraft to control its victims. If you are not careful, the Jezebel spirit can lead you down a dark path that will be difficult to escape from.

A quick caveat: This doesn’t mean that everyone who has this Spirit is seductive in an outward sense, but inwardly. Remember 1 Samuel 16:7 which states “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

4. Crafty

Jezebel is crafty, sneaky, and always tries to stay one step ahead. She achieves her desires through indirect or deceitful methods. Thus, if you don’t discern, her tactics are often successful because those she targets cannot see through her façade.

5. Lack of submission to authority

It is a spirit of lawlessness. This spirit does not want to submit to any authority, including the authority of God. The Jezebel spirit wants everyone to follow her and do things her way.

6. Rebellion

The Jezebel spirit is a spirit of rebellion. The Jezebel spirit is very dangerous, and it can have a very negative influence on human beings. If you are under the influence of this spirit, it will be very difficult for you to submit to authority. You will always want to do things your way, and you will rebel against anyone trying to tell you what to do.

7. Control

The Jezebel spirit is very controlling. It wants to control everything and everyone around it. This includes, but is not limited to, controlling what people think, what they do, and how they feel. The Jezebel spirit will go to great lengths to control the people in its life.

8. Prideful

The Jezebel spirit thinks highly of itself and loves to be the center of attention. The Jezebel spirit loves to be worshiped and adored. It will often try to take credit for things it did not do.

9. Intimidation

Another way that the Jezebel spirit operates is through intimidation. It will try to intimidate people into doing what it wants them to do.

10. Attracted to positions of power

The Jezebel spirit is attracted to people who are in positions of power. It loves to control them and use them for its own purposes.

The Jezebel Spirit Is:

LOUD

CRITISIZES EVERYONE

  His way or the highway...or, the only way is his way and all other methods for  completing a project is rejected. 

OBNOXIOUS 

KNOWS IT ALL

In his or her mind, nobody else has the answers needed to solve the problem.

PROUD 

DESTROYS PEACE

This man or women will not allow you to be happy and attempt to draw you from AHAYAH with vain words.

 CRAFTINESS 

SPIRITUALIZES EVERYTHING

  This is not godly wisdom, but the misuse and abuse of knowledge; Knows scriptures to back his or her assumptions. Turns scripture around in order to get his or her way. 

NO GENTLENESS

TALKS IN CONFUSION

 It is impossible to converse with a Jezebel in logic, This is a way to maintain control and domination. 

NO SPIRIT OF LOVE

RELIGIOUS

A Jezebel dwells in the local church but doesn't like authority unless he is in the position of authority. He or she looks down on others who seem to be more "spiritual" than he or she is.

 REFUSES TO ADMIT GUILT OR WRONG DOING 

  INSUBORDINATE, PUSHY AND DOMINEERING

  Does not give way to authority; challenges every decision by those who have been placed in charge of "whatever." Will pry into every mind to get his or her way, WILL NOT SUBMIT TO A MAN. 

 There is many more attributes to this spirit then wearing make-up and jewelry, it dominates both male and female spirits, it will always show itself through the individual regardless of who they are. Whether it is rocking back and forth, pointing and clapping, laughing, speaking in gibberish/fake tongues, vain prayers, the list goes on and on, that's why the Jezebel spirit seems more wicked than others, it has many faces and they are all deceitful and need to be exposed. The sad thing is, the host Usually Will Not even Know They Have This Kind of Spirit in Them.

Jezebel – In The New Testament

The name Jezebel is used for a woman once again in Revelation 2:19-29. Here, Jezebel is described as a prophetess, a false teacher, an immoral woman and idol worshipper. She attended a church at Thyatira. She encouraged those who attended the church to engage in sexual sin and to worship other gods. 

6 Signs That Jezebel is Directing Attacks Against You

You become fearful.

You isolate yourself more.

You experience unreasonable exhaustion.

Your thoughts and dreams become sexually perverse.

Strange and prolonged illnesses hinder you.

Freak accidents become commonplace.

If this spirit is operating in your sphere of influence, then it is time to take action.  Scripture makes it clear that if we allow the works of Jezebel, we are equally sinful.

Revelations 2:19

19 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent; and she does not want to repent of her immorality. 

Revelations 2:20-21 

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

She was like the Jezebel in the Old Testament. They share many of the same characteristics. AHAYAH warned this Jezebel that He would punish her if she did not stop teaching evil and repent. AHAYAH God not only warned Jezebel the teacher, He also warned her followers to stop sinning and to repent. 

Revelations 2:22-23

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Revelations 2:23

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds. 

Revelations 2:24-29

24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

28 And I will give him the morning star.

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

In Conclusion:

Mary, the mother of Yasha Christ, was a sharp contrast to Jezebel. She was a woman who committed herself to AHAYAH and followed Him. Notice Mary’s attitude of willing submission to AHAYAH when she agreed to 

become the mother of Yasha in,

 Luke 1:27-30

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 

Again in,

Luke 1:38 

 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. 

and one more time in,

Luke 1:46-48

46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 

What a wonderful woman! What a contrast. This is the kind of woman AHAYAH desires, one who is humble, 

AHAYAH honoring and AHAYAH glorifying.

Can anyone Have a Corrupted Life Like Jezebel (spirit of Jezebel)?

The short answer is yes, anyone can have a life like Jezebel. We see in 2 kings 9:22 that Jezebel’s character was one “of evil in the sight of AHAYAH God, because she provoked him to anger (LIKE MANY OF YOU) with her evil practices.” This seems to be a common theme among those who live corrupt lives – they defiantly go against what is good and right, often in an attempt to spite God or those who represent Him.

This was certainly true of Jezebel, who led others into sexual immorality and idolatry, and who murdered God’s prophets. In doing so, she brought great suffering on herself and others, and ultimately met a tragic end. As we see from her example, a life of corruption is not something to be glorified or emulated – it leads only to destruction.

 The judgment that Yasha pronounced on Jezebel was a harsh one. He said that she would be cast into great suffering, and those who followed her would be afflicted as well. This is a powerful warning to us not to follow false teachers and those who lead us astray from the truth. 

 You can see the spirit of Jezebel clearly operates in the world today. It isn’t just a biblical story of an evil woman who was overcome and is no more. No, it’s a spirit that wants to prevent people from hearing AHAYAH’s voice and from being led by the Holy Spirit. It tries to control and manipulate others in order to achieve its own agenda. 

We must be on our guard against them and be willing to confront them when they show up in our midst.

1 Timothy 2:11-14 

 “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”
